Thanks for watching! If you liked this breakdown, here's a playlist of all my essays on editing.

I thought i was gonna see some bad editing. misread the title. akward movie. kinda liked it.

5:27 if you look in the background there will be a bird. However in original version there was a hanging body in the background. You can check on YouTube.

This movie explains itself I think. In the scene where The Girlfriend tries to explain the landscape paintings she has made to the father he asks how he knows to feel sad if there is nobody in the painting who looks sad. She asks him to try and picture he is in the landscape, and how looking around at it would make him feel, she asks him to try and feel without being told how. This is a movie without direction, without villains or main characters. The woman has good intentions but pretentious thoughts, the man is hurt and desperate and they end up tearing each other apart for trying to find love. Or do they? That's what I thought when I put myself in the landscape. So as one who looked into the mirror/painting that is this film I ask you to do the same. Without direction without motivation or theme and take something out of it that you and only you can perceive. That is how I understand this film.

Im thinking of this movie every day and loving it more and more 9.9/10. We love you charlie.

The older releases of The Wizard of Oz has the dead Munchkin before they caught it and re-released it with a bird where it was. This is a perfect depiction of enmeshment. If you have not read the book. it is short and INTENSE and yer brain will ooze out of yer ears at the end. the audio is AMAZING. Im tellin yah! Hes dyin in the snow here! This ‘ntire movies been his fadin fever dream. Definitely a unique film! I just made a review kind of/explanation of the movie, it's only my second video and it's a tough movie to start with! I definitely enjoyed the film though I'd appreciate it if anyone checked it out and gave me their honest opinion.

I get that shes not actually real, but at the same time, why does she spend so much time being by herself.

I'm 44 minutes and 12 seconds into this movie what a weird movie. My theory is he controls them with his mind no I have no idea but his girlfriend starting to act weird like she's starting to act like his mother and you'll see it you'll know what I mean when you see it when you watch it but it's f. up.

Yeah, that's the re-released version of The Wizard of Oz. The original is much more convincing. At first I thought, Okay, she has personality issues. Then I thought Okay, he has personality problems and she is his psychiatrist. Then I thought, ah okay, he is seeing his life, mixed with things he did and wish he did before he died. For what I get is, he had a difficult life on a farm, taking care of his parents. He was clever, had the hopes of being something great, but in the end, he became a lonely janitor that no one cared about. The movie was all in all, frustratingly paced, drawn out, long and boring. Painful to watch. The concept of the movie was good. The book is probably better.

The music is a masterwork, I can't find it. This movie will haunt me until I die. I was really involved in the first hour or so, but somehow I finished the movie with a bitter taste in my mouth. I think the final act didn't resonate with me at all. I love the way you bring the spirit of the movie into your reviews tho, it's really great and I appreciate the effort. also, the youtube auto-transcription tool is pretty scary, it even got zeitgeisty right, believe it or not. I wonder if directors sit around and talk about all the easter eggs in their movies no one has found yet. I've never had to rewind so much in a video before. Heartbreaking. Utterly soul crushing. I love quirky, off-beat films, but I hear this is crap. Will probably still include in my Monday movie night rotation, but am wondering if it's a case of the trailer being the best thing about it.

My mom currently is suffering from early onset Alzheimers, this really depicts her mind well. I feel like I shouldnt have watched it, really well made film tho. Makes total sense after watching this. This movie and this scene will linger with me for a long time. I did kinda figure out that the janitor was Jake but I had to read someone's explanation to fully understand this film. I think this film is both beautiful and sad. Beautiful because it showed the power of hope, the solace of escapist fantasies and the yearning for every human to feel love and importance. Sad because life doesn't always work that way. As a kid life is simple and you have a lot of hopes and dreams. But as an adult you realize that there are a lot of factors out of your control, a lot of things within yourself that you have problems overcoming and overall not everyone unfortunately gets to live a good life. This is a hard, cold fact. Still, every human being has the ability to dream and wish for happiness. I just hope that even if as a fantasy, the janitor found some happiness because every human deserves that.

Watch Mojo. the hanging Munchkin Me: WHAAAAT? 😱. The film is not a straightforward horror it's a psychological drama the books more horror though.
